INFORMATIONS ABOUT
II INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON THE ECOLOGY AND CONSERVATION OF JAGUAR AND OTHER NEOTROPICAL CATS
The Symposium is a regular meeting that brings together the world’s leading experts in the field of ecology and conservation of the jaguar and other Neotropical cats.
Previously, two meetings of jaguar experts were held in 1999 and in 2009 in Mexico. In 2018, the first symposium on jaguars and other neotropical cats was held in Cancún, Mexico, where it would occur every two years and on different places.
The 2020 Symposium will be the first to be held outside of Mexico and will be organized by the Latin American Alliance for the Conservation of the Jaguar and other neotropical cats, scientists, conservationists and various civil and government institutions.
